They were far more subtle about it in the anime so its hard to notice but when Jinwoo says he needs a stronger fighting force, the camera sneakily pans down and focuses on a sword in the snow, now that sword after Jinwoo runs at the ice elf, just HAPPENS to end up at the A ranks side when it was so close to Jinwoo before like...someone (cough) Jinwoo (cough) kicked it over to the A ranker... And noo, there wasn't a split second shot of Jinwoo's foot on the blade at some point before it miraculously appeared at the A rankers side... (evil cackle) (I'm only telling you about this because it was far more in your face in the Manwha, so its not a spoiler, they just have done it very subtly in the anime, I'm assuming as a fun thing for readers to notice)

2025-01-15 23:54:51 +0000 UTCIn the LN Jinwoo sees himself in her, and she also reminds him of his sister due to them being the same age, it may not seem it but in the anime his actually shown to be more protective of her, for example he tried to shove her out of the red gate before he yelled at them to get the strike squad and he pulled her to his chest in a protective way in order to grab the arrow aimed at her, both things with how he behaved with her are anime original. In the manwha he does protect her but the pushing her against his chest is not there and he doesn't try to push her out of the red gate either but I think the anime is just highlighting that he feels responsible for her and protective over her, rather than adding to the manwha. In the LN its more clear that Jinwoo sees himself as a E rank in her, since we're reading Jinwoo's thoughts unfortunately in the manwha and anime it seems they decided not to show Jinwoo's thoughts on her. But I think the anime showed by his actions that he does feel a connection with her, whether its just because of her age reminds him of his sister, his own responsibility for her as adult while she is a minor or seeing his E rank self in her, or all three is up for speculation I suppose :)
