Okay, you guys seem very confused, and I really do not understand why exactly that is. Bam meeting Khun wasn't part of this little plot to get rid of Khun before he kills Rachel, Xia Xia first tried to slow Bam down, when that din't work she instead did what she can do speed it up to avoid Khun and Bam meeting. When neither of these worked, Xia Xia dropped the ruse, and revealed herself to Bam as Fug. And reminded him not to do anything funny just because he met with Khun. If Bam doesn't do anything stupid - they will save Horyang. If he does - both Horyang AND Khun die. The fact that Bam can physically stop Xia Xia means nothing, FUG can just send someone much stronger than Bam next. Fug, as we were already shown isn't a hive mind, people there have different opinions and ideas on how things should be done, there's many factions to it. Khun isn't being targeted as a punishment for Bam - FUG is incredibly powerful crime syndicate, we already seen that the test coordinators on the floor of tests, and floor 20 are FUG spies, they have very powerful people they can order to assassinate Bam's friends if they want to punish Bam. The reason why this is done by the regulars, is simply because this has nothing to do with Bam. Rachel asked them to deal with Khun because she knows that he knows, and she made her move first. Now - you are not entirely wrong about the fact that Bam has a lot of leverage, he wouldn't dare to pay the price he would pay if he did what you suggest, BUT as I am saying you are not wrong. This is why Xia Xia was so happy when Bam threatened to kill her if she pulls something like this again. In her head she was probably like "FINALLY. You are acting like a proper slayer" - A Fug Slayer has a very high position of power in the organisation, so much so - they are refereed to as god. A Slayer isn't supposed to be ordered around by his subordinates, he's supposed to order them. But yeah, it doesn't change the fact that if Bam openly goes against the FUG higher ups, his friends WILL die for it. And Bam is not willing to pay that price. It doesn't matter how much leverage he has, because he isn't willingly trading the life of even a single one of his friends. Bam is extremely valuable, but it's not like he can do anything he wants without any consequences. If they believe he does more harm then good, they can get rid of him. Bam is an irregular, not the irregular.
