2024-07-22 22:14:39 +0000 UTCSo the bombs scene, it's not even spelled out to the viewer in the Manhwa, and Season 1 of the anime did a REALLY bad job explaining the power system, and messes with many feats (Season 2 is also not without fault - but very happy to say so far it's been infinitely better than season 1 when it comes to accuracy) The reason why Wangna's bombs work on Bam - is because Bam is a bit different than everyone else. Most people have their Shinsu resistance and physical resistance at pretty much the same level. There are some people known for having higher Shinsu resistance - for example Yuri Jahad was established to be one of them. But yeah, for most people Akraptor's charged beam is a very powerful attack, while the bombs are little more than children toy. But Bam's reistances are completely whack - when it comes to Shinsu resistance he is incredible (Lero-ro's shinsu attack didn't push him out, and he was able to freely move during the ball test, even though many wouldn't even be able to enter the cage). Hence Akraptors charged beam didn't phase him at all (in the manhwa he blocked it with his hand). But Bam has nearly no physical resistance if he isn't actually using shinsu reinforcement, he's basically just a dude when it comes to physical resistance - for Bam these weak bombs are the most deadly thing in the entire room Again this wasn't even clearly explained in the Manhwa, the author just trusted the reader to put it together themselves (but since season 1 of the anime didn't explain the pre-requisites to understand the scene...)
