Hey there, I know some of you are here just for this fic. Unfortunately, the next chapter's release will be delayed due to a rewrite.

After finishing the Riser arc, I was excited to put my own spin on the next arc and deviate from the canon events. However, after rereading the story from Chapter 1, I realized there were a lot of inconsistencies and missed opportunities for character interactions that I want to fix.

I really thought about pushing through, but I don't want to frustrate myself by writing around those mistakes in future chapters. The rewrite will be more about polishing and adding necessary scenes, not starting from scratch.

Since there will be an extended break for the next chapter, I've decided to make the six Patreon exclusive chapters available to everyone right now. By the time I'm ready to continue the story, I aim to have written up to Chapter 21.

Based on my current workload, I think the rewrite will take me approximately two months to complete. I understand if you decide to cancel your membership, but I'd love to have you back when the story resumes :)
