2025-04-26 18:41:47 +0000 UTCthe last episode pays hommage to different versions of batman throughout the years, and the second part in the junkyard pays tribute to one of the most famous comics "The dark knight returns", as far as I know batman used to be very light in movies but the movie Batman 1989 made him darker and the animated series got its inspiration by that movie I think, and they have pretty much the same theme song.
