Jade x Aubrey - Part 1
Added 2026-01-15 16:00:21 +0000 UTCThis month's character commission poll, where we get to see what it would have been like if Jade and Aubrey had gotten together during the events of Big Aspirations. This one was fun to write, because while it was a hypothetical, it was fun to figure out how these two would bounce off each other in a romantic kind of way. Aubrey's overly cautious and analytical approach butting heads with Jade's blunt confidence.
The way I imagined this sequence was as snippets from an imaginary 4th romance path, with this first part being how the relationship would start. And it just made sense to me that Jade would essentially brute force them into a relationship together.

The biggest challenge with adding additional romance routes is that the first three girls were built in conjunction with each other and the story branched out with those three in mind, adding addition options would lead to an exponential amount of work, between reworking the already existing code, to adding news scenes, art, etc. Unfortunately as soon as the first bricsk were laid it became unreasonable to add more love interests. Luckily we have these extra art commissions as an alternate way to see what could have been
