Quick note on new limit for maximum number of characters per poll nomination
Added 2022-02-14 14:20:32 +0000 UTCHey guys, so as I'm sure most of you are aware, January's 8th Year finale plus this month's HP general poll winners were both jam-packed with girls for Harry to nail (9 for 8th year; 8 for the general). Both seemed to be well-received, and that's awesome.
But if those two works have shown me anything, it's that trying to fit that many different girls/scenes into a single chapter of this length is rather difficult for me to pull off while giving any of them any real focus. I'd rather not have to try and keep that up if this becomes a pattern, so I've decided to set a limit on how many characters can be used in the sex scene(s) of any one nomination. I'll just paste the text I've written for the document I use when I open nominations so you can see it. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them in the comments here or via private message to me if you prefer. Otherwise, keep this new addendum in mind when it goes into effect with this month's non-HP general poll (the nomination post for that will go up tomorrow, as usual.)
Please limit your nomination so it includes no more than six characters total being focused on in any sex scene(s), whether that be one character having sex with five, three different pairings, two trios, etc. There can be other named characters watching in the background if the prompt calls for it, or you can hint at other pairings/characters happening off-screen, in the past/future, whatever. But as far as the actual scenes that we see and get focused on during the fic itself, keep it to six total characters maximum.
