August Map Schedule - Update

It’s August and I’ve been rummaging through all the amazing ideas you have sent me over the last few months and picked three I think will work well together. I normally pick a weird/fantastical map theme, a structure (building) theme, and a wilderness map (travel encounter) theme. These are the current ideas I have for our August maps (Suggested by you all! Hopefully I credited the right people, let me know if I didn’t) :
- Temple Dig Site
One of my variants for the Forest Boundary was a small dig site where someone had dug into the mounds and uncovered something. Well, I really like this idea and wanted to create a much larger ‘Dig Site’. I really loved a suggestion by Wes to look at the Kailasa Temple in India for inspiration and so I’ve decided to incorporate these ideas into a dig site that is uncovering some kind of ancient temple. - Ruined Hamlet (village)
For our buildings-style map, I’ll go with a Ruined Hamlet map. Just a few buildings, mostly stone walls, the odd wooden beam, and burnt planks. Thanks to Chromatic Sedition for this one. - Bamboo Forest
I’d love to try my hand at creating this kind of forest. I suspect it will have a path and a clearing, maybe even a quiet pool with some giant Koi carp. Thanks to Sendoria for this idea.

I've been playing a lot of Symbaroum RPG - would love to request: - A Forest Wilderness pack (like the Jungle, Swamp and Grasslands you've done before) - Ancient ruins (little/no furnishings, and minimal lighting - some plundered and some not) in forest, swamp, jungle, underground settings - Subterranean passages/tunnels/branches (similar to the river you've done in the past) Thanks!

2021-08-04 19:17:45 +0000 UTCI actually do have a map with a SpellJammer, check out 'The Crash Site' (I think that's what I called it). Its a classic Spelljammer style ship. However I'm always up for more astral sea style maps.
