I have thought about creating layers like this in the past. However, having to export each map version twice, with and without trees would add quite some work for me when I'm crunching at the end of a map project. Not to mention having to match each set of trees with the lighting and environmental versions I create would end up being quite the task. So I'm afraid currently it's not very fesable. I will try to keep it in mind for the future and when possible I'll continue to add assets that can be added over maps, as I've been doing in recent releases.

2022-10-05 19:27:01 +0000 UTCI'm not sure what your drawing process is, but is there any possibility of getting the tropical version without the treetops, then get the treetops separately? Foundry VTT can have overhead tiles - images that tokens can walk under. Being able to put the treetops on that upper layer would be very cool.
