Maps for August!
Added 2020-08-03 13:55:51 +0000 UTCHello Adventurers! I’ve taken a good look through your suggestions for new maps and come up with three themes for August I think should be really fun for me to create and for you to use in your campaigns, or run as one shots.
The Fighting Pits - I imagine this is a small grimy fighting arena, but also I’d like to create some of the other areas associated with a building like this. So along with the arena and stands there will be training grounds, fighters quarters, animal pens and anything else I can think of ;)
Flooded Excavation Site - A Dwarven excavation site partially flooded by an underground lake or sea. This could be part of a larger Dwarven ruin or a stand alone facility. The map theme will be based around the idea of a Dwarven facility that has been excavating ancient ruins deep below the ocean or underground lake. I imagine there will be airlocks, machinery generating magical barriers to hold back the water, an ‘underwater sea’ area with some ruins and some flooded areas of the facility.
Farm Road (Trackway) - I think there is a lack of good farmland maps around, so I'd like to create a road/track running between fields of corn and wheat, lined with hedges, the odd tree, maybe a small ruined farm building.
I’ll work on the maps in order, so expect to see some grimy bloodstained Fighting Pits come your way in the next week or so.

Excavation site? Can't get it fast enough! I am doing an abandoned salt mines adventure and your work could save me a world of time. :D

2020-08-06 05:40:14 +0000 UTCI like the ratio of "1 special scenario map and 2 general use maps". I have said it before and Ill say it again. The mundane maps are the foundation of every good campaign. They flexible and reliable encounter maps. Looking forwar to it.

2020-08-05 14:43:14 +0000 UTCI do often ask for suggestions when sending out Updates, but you can make suggestions anytime in the comments here or through private messages. I'm always looking for new ideas, so all are welcome, not to say they will all be made but if I feel they will appeal to a good number of my Patrons I'll create them at some point in the future :D
