Map list

Here is a full list of all the maps I have avai

Map list

Comments

I'll definitely try and see if I can focus on using some of the older maps so I can create the json file

Alexander Jakimcio

Thanks Alex, I'll take a look at these and fix them. I have so many files to organise with each new map release small errors are bound to happen. Thanks for pointing them out :)

Afternoon Maps

You can just get the JSON file, no need to download again. Unfortunately, I've not updated many of the older maps with Foundry files. It's a long process, and I'm always rather short on time. It would be great to get some files from DMs that have made them for their games. I should ask ;)

Afternoon Maps

Also a question: For older Maps that I already had downloaded, does it suffice to simply download the .json file and then use the downloaded images I already had, or should I get the VTT Zip?

Alexander Jakimcio

Amazing Maps as always, like seriously love the style! Just fyi for Ice Breaker there are two "01" VVT files, this only seems to be the case for the hyperlink as the linked files are differently named. Also between Roadside Ruin and Kraken Pot Cove there is a "test link" in case that should not be there.

Alexander Jakimcio

Thanks Roland! I use Photoshop for my maps. It's basically lots and lots of layered assets I've drawn and a lot of hand-drawn work over the top. It is incredibly time-consuming, but I like the look, so it is probably worth it ;) I don't have any plans to put out asset packs, they can be a lot of work, and currently I'm very time poor :P

Afternoon Maps

Hey there! Thank you for your outstanding work! I really love your style! May I ask what software do you use for the maps? Will you release dungeondraft assets in the future by any chance? Thanks in advance and keep up the great work

Roland Hegedus

I'm sorry I didn't reply to this earlier. I sometimes miss comments on posts, and Patreon is bad at sending them through my email. A Globe-style theatre would be a great setting. I'll add it to the list of possibilities.

Afternoon Maps

I recently created a new country tavern, but I'm well aware of how many adventures start and revolve around taverns ;) I think a Wharf tavern frequented by Sailers would be a fun one to make. And a ruined castle is one I really should have already done. So that's going on the list for sure.

Afternoon Maps

Just subscribed to your profile. The art is fantastic (very atmospheric!) and it sparks a lot of fresh ideas for future campaigns. Looking foward to playing with them and my kids (they'll love the sets!) and also looking forward to your next map. A new tavern and an open ruined castle battlemap (kind of like the Woodland Path or Into the wilds but on stone rather than on grass would be great! ;-). Regarding the variants, I'm planning a campaign in the snow, and having the frozen look is really handy and very much appreciated! Many greetings from Barcelona!

Francesc

Would you create a Theatre-in-the-Round, similar to the Globe Theatre or Rose Theatre of Shakespere's time? It could have variants for different states of repair (new, weather-worn, aged ruins, burnt-out ruins, etc.). There could be a ground level, raised levels (DMs could repeat that level as needed), and an underground level to handle the trapdoors in the stage. Besides standing room, balcony seating, and the stage itself, there could be ticket booths and dressing rooms, as well as other specialty spaces.

The Illuminaughty

Thanks E.T! Fixed. And also thank you for the kind message, sometimes I really need a bit of positive reinforcement :)

Afternoon Maps

Little FYI: Blacksmith's Forge VTT No Titles link doesn't work from this post. (Based on the actual post, looks like there was an update/file change.) I absolutely love your maps and this post has been my first stop for planning recently!

E. T. Young

Thanks so much Fabricio, I try to accommodate as many use cases as possible for my supporter :)

Afternoon Maps

Hey! Just wanted to say that i love your maps. Excellent work, also 1000 I.Q. move the extra pdf's, love those.

Fabrício Garcia Silva

Love it.

Thank you very much for this

Tom - The Gaming Peeples

OK Tom, I've had a chat and it seems like most people use Foundry to export Foundry files, rather than the UniversalVTT format. So for the moment, I'll be generating those. I'll start producing them, starting with my most recent and go from there. It will take a while, not sure on timescales as there are hundreds to create :P

Afternoon Maps

I will talk to other creators about what they use to create the UniversalVTT files as honestly every solution I've tried is... I'll be polite and say not optimal ;) Its a very long process to get them done, but I am looking into it.

Afternoon Maps

Love your maps. Any hope of a moulinette/foundry vtt ready version?

Tom - The Gaming Peeples

Not sure about roll20 but foundry can work with webp files, which allows transparency and compression, and can have size even smaller than jpgs

Dmytro

Hi Mjjf, the Delver Tier zips have all the files in them. So the VTT zip has the base and the alternatives in it. Thanks for the support!

Afternoon Maps

Hi! Love your maps :) I had a question about this listing. Are the Explorer Tier (base) maps included in the zip files for the Delver Tier? Or should I grab the BASE.zip from the Explorer Tier to get the full set of maps for the Delver Tier? Also, I'd love to see a cozy magical tea shop :)

mjjf

that would be lovely, thank you for considering and looking into it

Alexander Jakimcio

Really? It took me about 10 minutes just going through and CTRL+clicking each .zip link... Then I take them out of my downloads folder and move them to my maps folder for Afternoon maps. Unless you have an insanely slow download speed or extremely old pc it really shouldnt take long at all.

Graham

Awesome thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience!

LazerScythe

Hey Lazer, it seems that Patreon is having issues with their Help Desk at the moment, so I just adding in the thumbnails again, rather than waiting any longer for a response. It should all be working and functional again! Thanks again for the support!

Afternoon Maps

I'm getting Patreon to look into it. Having to upload all the thumbnails will be a rather lengthy job, so I'm crossing my fingers that the techie people at Patreon can fix it. Thanks again Lazer and sorry for the inconvenience!

Afternoon Maps

Oh my god... they all broke. Looks like Patreon just decided what I'll be doing on my Sunday :( Thanks for letting me know Lazer <3

Afternoon Maps

Are the image previews after the first 2 maps broken for anyone else?

LazerScythe

I'll keep this in mind and do it where I can :) I did just take a quick look and the inner chambers would be about a 25MB PNG file. I know Roll20 has a 10MB limit on free uploads, and 20MB for Pro and Plus, so trying to get it lower than 20MB would be important. PNGs don't really do compression (at least not the way JPGs do), so cutouts are not always viable. But I get why they are useful and I'll certainly provide them when I can.

Afternoon Maps

I'm loving your maps, but could you consider releasing more versions with transparent cutouts for layers? For example, for the most recent King's Barrow map, the center mound itself (the outside view) could be a cutout with the rest of the map transparent. This would be useful for those of us using the fanciest VTT nonsense like with Foundry VTT + Levels, where you can have multiple map layers and 3D vision/placement/targeting.

---

Someone just suggested a similar map theme, so I think its likely that will go into the map list soon :)

Afternoon Maps

Would you consider making some sort of restaurant map? Not necessarily a tavern. Higher-end port city elite vibes, if you want a direction!

Scotia

Thanks Titanic :D And welcome aboard!

Afternoon Maps

This is an amazing selection of maps & the quality is spot on. All of these will be very useful for my games :)

Titanic Viking

Right, I've gone through all the links and I believe I've corrected all the ones which were doubled up. Thanks so much for pointing this out Don!

Afternoon Maps

Actually, I can see the doubled-up ones by hovering my mouse over them. I'll fix the ones I find, thank you for the heads up!

Afternoon Maps

If you could let me know any of the ones you find that are broken that would be awesome. Its a huge task to search each one, so hopefully people can point to the broken ones and I can fix them. If not, no worries, I'll have a search myself and try to find them.

Afternoon Maps

Hi, thanks for the consolidated list! Just wanted to let you know that some of the links are broken. Not files missing, but the link points to a repeated URL (as if the link were typed out twice) so the download fails but if you type it out manually the download is fine.

Don Mase

Glad things are better for you Bart, welcome back! :D

Afternoon Maps

SO glad to be back. Resolved my monetary issue and happy to continue to support this Patreon. :D

Bart Heird

Thanks so much! I'm trucking on getting my next release ready, lots and lots of cogs in my clockwork Doomsday machine ;)

Afternoon Maps

Just wanted to say that I use your maps when I conceive d&d campaign. Keep up the wonderfull work :)

Manubiwan

Sweet

Mikhell

I just joined the other day, and this is super helpful! There are truly so many maps, it has taken hours to get them all downloaded, and I'm still not done.

Adam Brown

I have looked into it. However Patreon does not allow for uploads more than 200MB and there is no easy way to manage my Patreon list to allow access from a One Drive or Google Drive account. I will continue to try to improve the way I deliver my maps though, and thanks for the question, its something I'm well aware isn't ideal. :)

Afternoon Maps

Sorry to bother mate, just wanted to ask. Have you ever considered making a megabundle of all your maps of a given tier for easy downloading? If not no worries, just was curious.

Maple Riemer

I think its about a month behind Keovar. I'm terrible at keeping up with it. I will however update it this weekend!

Afternoon Maps

How often does this list update?

Keovar

Thanks so much for joining up Keovar :D

Afternoon Maps

I just joined so this is helpful for catching up! I was just looking for battle maps on Google and most of the best ones that turned up had your watermark, so I looked you up!

Keovar

I'm afraid my current website is very out of date. So unfortunately the best way to view them is by opening the Launch links on this page. I started to add thumbnails to this list but it's rather time-consuming and I'm always busy trying to complete the next map so it's hard to find the time. I will try my best to add more thumbnails here when I get a weekend spare!

Afternoon Maps

Do you have a website or page that shows a quick thumbnails of each map? Would be great to have a quick way to.scan through to find what you need!

Nate Goss

Maybe you can talk to DMDave and that gang, they do a Drive-based solution for their content and might be willing to share some info on how they did it. :)

Björn Flintberg

Thanks so much!~ Love your work, just downloaded every map last night so I have it cataloged XD

LeafCaliber

Hey Leaf, you know I think thats a great idea, I'd switch it now.

Afternoon Maps

Could you unlock this post for people not on the patreon? it would be nice so I could send it to my friends to see which maps they'd like to include in our games

LeafCaliber

I think the ideal experience for me as a Patron would be a "Patreon Reward Drive" that stores all rewards I've unlocked. When a creator wants to add a reward, they'd make a post like they normally do, but instead of adding a link/file to the post's text, they add that link/file as a "reward object". All the parameters that are used for the current patron only post system could be reused. New patrons would just have all posts scanned for "reward objects" that meet their membership criteria, and bam, they get added to their drive. If someone stops being a patron then any new rewards wouldn't be added to their drive. Hell, if a creator has a setup where they lose the reward unless an active patron, then it could be removed from the drive I'm certain that 99% of the infrastructure is there

tmcgillicuddy

This is a really fantastic solution. I'd love to see a tutorial on it. I think many of the Patrons here would love it as well. If you do produce a tutorial I could point people to it. Really Patreon should have better download features, its frustrating the tools for delivering content are so basic. I've looked into Google Drive solutions, but organising access for everyone is a bit of a serious job.

Afternoon Maps

Lol, I did a similar thing. The script will unzip, rename files/directories, move things around to have an organized file structure. I only need the no-grid ones, so I also remove the other ones. Still trying to figure out a nice way to scrape patreon links to download everything in the background, and it would be cool to generate a table of contents pdf from those in the zip files. Considering that seems to be a common logistical issue for patreons that give out files as rewards, you'd think they invest in an all encompassing file manager

tmcgillicuddy

If it can be of any help : I just subbed, discovered those great maps and loved them instantly! But as I'm a lazy person when it comes to computer handling, I wrote a script to unzip everything in a single action :-) So in the end the creator made it quite easy to download by providing this Table of Contents (could be improved with a "download all" button but hey, let's leave it to Patreon to implement that stuff directly into the webapp), and I spent litteraly no time unzipping them all. Quite a nice workaround! If you're interested I think I'll probably make some kind of a tutorial soon

Etienne Safa

I think all of the maps are super cool, but I kinda wish there was a link that I could use to access the maps on a google drive or something. That way you could just post the latest stuff.

tmcgillicuddy

Thank you so much for the kind comment and for the support :D

Afternoon Maps

just subbed and looking through your stuff stuns me. it's all so good!

Turglayfopa

I've thought about something like this. Along with other similar buildings like a poor house or orphanage. Thanks for the suggestion!

Afternoon Maps

An asylum/sickhouse would be nice. Im loving it! Keep up the amazing work:)

Stephen Batchelor

Thanks so much for posting this map list. It is so helpful.

Kevin Moeller

Thanks for this, I've updated it :D

Afternoon Maps

One minor thing: the Launch link for the Green Bastion points to the Weaver's Way.

Marco Bizzarri

How on earth did you know? Looking for a dock fight in 3 weeks. Outstanding!

James Vincent

Thanks so much for categorizing your collection so thoroughly!

June

Super useful. Thank you so much

Martin Rimmen

Thumbnails are really usefull. Thanks for the list it's appreciated and again awesome work !

Emilien REGENT

Oh, man I'd def love to see more greek style locations!

oceanicsurvivor

Could you make a map in the clouds? I have my own reasons for wanting one, but it could work well for the new greek-style campaigns coming too. Kind of like Zeus' throne or something?

Anthony Wilcox

Thank you so much!

Ricardo Leon

This is awesome! Are you going to make a discord server? That would be great!

General Shark

Thanks!

Enrique

Much appreciated! Thank you so much!

June

Thank you!!!

Maple Riemer
