I wanted to send you all a most heartfelt best wishes for the holiday season and a big thank you for all the support you've given me over the last year. You are awesome! Keep being awesome and I hope you continue to have amazing adventures into next year and for many years to come!
New patron map ideas please!
With the new year just around the corner, I think its a great time to start collecting new map ideas from you wonderful creative people. So with that in mind I'd love you to think of some interesting and useful ideas for new maps I can create next year. Just comment below and I'll add them to my map suggestions document.
Next maps
The next map for the month will be The Hacienda (fortified compound). I'm a little behind schedule with this one due to general holiday season stuff, I'd rather not rush it out before Christmas, so instead I'm going to launch it towards the end of the month.
I'm also expecting a free launch to come in the next few days, its in the final stages of production with just some final tweaks to be completed by some very talented people. I can't wait for you to see it, its wild!
Finally for all those celebrating Christmas and New Years, have a wonderful time. As always have a great week, and happy adventuring!

Late to the party since I've just been consuming your maps and using them as often as possible (Delver is worth it folks, if you don't have it already!). But I'd still love to see some Clockwork and/or SciFi type stuff for campaigns that go in that direction! :D
2020-01-29 15:06:54 +0000 UTCAlso a small medieval castle with central keep and only a few rooms. Ooh, an abbey would be cool too!

2019-12-25 06:45:05 +0000 UTCA variety of cottages, especially some of the lower end ones, where you have like animals brought in from the cold into your home and mattresses on the floor, old school medieval style. A village common with a bread oven and other sorts of sundry details. Perhaps with and without market day! Any kind of shop! I love shops and markets for when the PCs get up to mischief inside homes.

2019-12-25 06:44:21 +0000 UTCI have a location in my campaign that my party keeps coming back to, and it would be great to give them a map of the area. Here are the details: It's a crossroads on the plains. At the crossroads is a 2-story inn and tavern, with attached livery stable, and a trading post. Nearby is a half-destroyed tower keep that suddenly teleported there years ago. The area immediately around the tower does not match the rest of the land around it. There are a dozen houses situated kind of haphazardly around the actual road intersection, but they look more fortified than normal farmer's housing that you usually find. Just south of the Crossroads a forest begins, and in that forest lies a cracked portal. When circumstances are right the portal opens and makes a random connection with another place/time/reality. Incursions of beings from that other location sometimes come through the portal. That's the reason for the fortified housing and the lack of any other public structures besides an inn and a trading post. I know a specifically weird crossroads isn't as exciting as an urban prison or anything, lol, but if this happens to interest you, that would be great. Thanks.
2019-12-24 14:34:36 +0000 UTCA modular town please! Square map tiles, perhaps 8" x 8" where some tiles are as complete 8x8 room and others are perhaps 8x4 (but still an 8x8 with a street feature, barrels, shrubs etc.) so you could make rectangle and "L" shaped buildings. Other tiles would have stand alone buildings, shacks, barrels, park, fountain, travelling puppet show, etc.
2019-12-24 00:42:32 +0000 UTCMmm yes, I like the idea of a underground lake, there could be some great encounters set in a location like that, cheers Coin!

2019-12-23 17:00:11 +0000 UTCAh yes, some kind of arena or maze full of statues, awesome! Thanks Haydar!

2019-12-23 16:57:09 +0000 UTCNow this is a great idea Wall Meat, I'll have to think how it could be structured, there are some fun things I could add to this idea I'm sure.

2019-12-23 16:56:30 +0000 UTCNext year I'll definitely be creating some street maps for city encounters.

2019-12-23 16:55:22 +0000 UTCThanks Ederson, I have your oriental themed maps in the list already. I love the aesthetic, so will be looking forward to creating something along these lines.

2019-12-23 16:54:45 +0000 UTCOooh good idea Luciano, I like the idea of a slum for monster.

2019-12-23 16:52:54 +0000 UTCSome nice stuff here Philip, I'll add them in!

2019-12-23 16:51:49 +0000 UTCI'll keep on trying to add alternative to my maps with Desert themes, and yes, I enjoy creating desert maps so thanks Caerdwyn :)

2019-12-23 16:48:21 +0000 UTCA good urban prison would be excellent!

2019-12-23 16:40:59 +0000 UTCHey, I am a realtively new supporter, but already tried several of your maps. They are really nice! Thank you for making them! I always thought a cathedral rooftop fight would be nice and it is been really hard to find a proper map. Something like the Duomo of Milan for example which has nice small rooftop "courtyards", narrow alleys and stairways and a big open area with gothic statues on the top. https://static.flickr.com/90/248229198_51d1cf2a81.jpg http://travelthroughitaly.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Milan-Duomo-Rooftop-Terrace.jpg
2019-12-23 09:23:13 +0000 UTCThanks for making so many great maps available! There's never enough desert themed material. Tombs, temples (aboveground, carved into cliffs, belowground), oases, ancient Ozymandias-like ruins, desert markets and towns... one of the most story-rich settings that is underrepresented in fantasy and modern gaming.
Caerdwyn
2019-12-23 05:36:29 +0000 UTCI'm looking for some maps that could be used in a Firefly-style game, so anything that could be used in an urban/Sci-Fi setting would be great. I have used the Royal Museum (for a heist) and the Grand Theatre for a Fifth Element style scene. Maybe something like an old west Sheriff's office that could double as a police station for a small town? Perhaps an apartment building that could double as a tenement, barracks or high-rise?
2019-12-23 02:58:03 +0000 UTCA "goblin slum" in a big medieval city. A goblin neighborhood where dirt and trash is everywhere, with huts poorly made of wood and scraps . Below the huts is the real neighborhood: a network of underground tunnels and caves.

2019-12-23 01:28:56 +0000 UTCAs I suggested in a previous post, maps with oriental themes in the Sengoku no jidai period. Like as a castle of shoguns, cities and temples. Merry Christmas and happy new year!!

2019-12-23 00:58:51 +0000 UTCI'm all on board for more urban Waterdeep style maps. Especially with canals!
Troy White
2019-12-22 22:20:44 +0000 UTCA scrapyard or junkyard, or if you wanted to be more strictly fantasy medieval about it, a midden.
2019-12-22 21:55:59 +0000 UTCIt is very hard to find a medusa lair map with petrified statues. There is almost no alternative online. Happy holidays!
2019-12-22 21:04:24 +0000 UTCThere are two kinds of maps I've been looking for lately that have been unusually hard to find, even though they seem straightforward. The first is a prison, but not a dark dungeony prison, just a normal prison you might find in a larger city, maybe with a bit of magical warding or just a special warded chamber for spellcasters. The second is a temple, but again, not a ruined temple or a jungle temple or a mountaintop temple. A really lovely urban temple, maybe to some lawful good deity like Bahamut, something grand. I love running city-based campaigns with lots of political intrigue, so I'd really like to see more maps like this!

2019-12-22 20:12:14 +0000 UTCWell for an idea, its hard to find feywild Maps. Im trying make a feywild dungeon run with alot of things like large Underground Lake with some random placed rocks for monsters to rest. An other Fun Places.

2019-12-22 18:39:12 +0000 UTCI'll post my own wild west idea: A saloon. With a wide open area out front, a bar, maybe a player piano? Curved staircase up to the second floor with a wraparound balcony. Up on the second floor are rooms for guests and sex-workers. Think the Mariposa from Westworld! Thanks for everything you do all year and I look forward to seeing what comes next!

2019-12-22 18:38:46 +0000 UTCSeconded!

2019-12-22 18:35:43 +0000 UTCHappy Holidays! Here's my suggestion: A wild west ghost town type scene. A sandy run-down village with dry wooden structures full of outlaws, rejects and dreamers. Bonus points for tumbleweeds and wanted posters. =D
Patrick
2019-12-22 18:09:48 +0000 UTCMerry Christmas! Take your time, and enjoy your holiday! I'd like to see another city themed map with lots of alleyways for something like a Waterdeep campaign when you get back. Thanks for all you do!

2019-12-22 17:45:35 +0000 UTCI need some snow/arctic maps! ;)
