Location Scouts Wanted (yes you!)

It’s been said a few times that I don’t tend to draw backgrounds to my pregnant art. My usually response to this is that while I like creating scenes, they can take quite a lot of time to draw and often longer than it does to draw a pregnant character.

Given how little of my life has been spent going places in 2020, I thought at least one art reward pack in 2021 (and maybe more) should be set in a location and this is where I ask you to be my Location Scouts!

So just like a movie, TV show or photo shoot in pre-production, I need you as Location Scouts to find me interesting locations for me to put my pregnant women.

Maybe it’s a photo you took of a location or maybe you want to jump on Google Street view to find a place. It could be a location just around the corner from you that you know really well or it could be somewhere far away that you’ve never been to.

From the location photos you send me, I will pick out the ones that inspire me the most and then create some art.

If I have any requirements or preferences then I’d say to avoid anything too rural - I’m no Bob Ross so I don’t like painting pine trees! So something that’s got buildings would be good. Also a location that’s photographed at ground level not an aerial view.

Please don’t send me the location as only a comment like ‘Tokyo’. It needs to be a picture - either as a link to that picture or posted to the Discord (in the new 'Location suggestions' channel). Thanks.
