I actually love the sub romances way more than the main romances. The Valentine's Day stuff was SOOO much better for the sub romances! (I did love G's, but compared to Dakota's? Pfft... gimme Dakota, lol)

We've got Seven going between "Yeah we're never getting back together" and "Why would you say that we'd never get back together?" within the span of a minute. We have the self destructing hot mess superstar who is actually just kind of lost and yearning for that feeling of purely loving music again. Now we have "I only do flings" Dakota going "I flung myself across the country for you".

The idea that mc is an exception to a rule is also so so romantic and the banter between them flows very easy and very funny. This has made me so excited for their route (also love that in this and in Seven's valentine special we get two moments of Dakota/Seven seeing the MC in a distinctly romantic light; in seven's: when MC is reaching down to pull them up, and here: where MC is looking over the view)

Something about starting just a causal relationship and it maybe developing into something more serious despite everyones wishes is just really interesting. I also like how straightforward/blunt Dakota is, but still mamages to not say much about themselves. After reading the shorts I really hope the subromances all have a possible happy end^^

( I know we have hadn't much time with them, they just give me the idgaf vibe) Normally not into overly arrogant characters but you've written them so well and with a touch of sweetness that smooths out the edges of that cockiness. Pleasantly surprised to say the least!

They're perfectly aloof, and I think you've managed to give me yet another character I have to dig a little deeper on. They're just shrouded in mystery, and I can appreciate that they aren't being googled by the MC or looking them up because it seems they want that anonymity. I know as a reader the second we figure out who they are that'll change things so it's just nice to keep it "real" without whatever they present as to the rest of the world and learn them as an individual first. Bravo Amy!
