As I had mentioned I am working on a new project called Sweet Scam and there will be several changes:
ENGINE AND CG
Thanks to the help of patreon, for this project I used RPG MAKER MV. MV has a higher resolution than VX ACE, so the CGs will also have a higher resolution.
GAMEPLAY
I was not at all satisfied with the work I did on Kingdom of Lumeria, so this time I decided to work on something different and better (and not make a bad copy of... other game). I'm adding new mechanics, mini-games, puzzles, and secrets to make the game more "game". I added a quest system, crafting, a minigame, special items/loot....
In short, I want to create a real rpg game that can really be played.
MAPS
I want to pay close attention to the maps and their details. I also want to focus a lot on the exploration and interaction of the maps. I want to add secrets, treasures, hidden items, all to stimulate the desire to explore.
CHARACTERS
I will be using classic RPG Maker style characters. In the future I want to test my pixel-art skills (if I have any).
BATTLE
I've added a simplified battle system for the monsters in the forest, since no one here cares about doing a battle against slimes. We want more "spicy" opponents, don't we? xD
I haven't implemented a complex frontal combat system yet, but I will shortly.
