They never resurrected him, and it was confirmed when Stiles and his dad were in the morgue. They didn't try to play tricks on us. He was the one under the sheets. Also, I would like to point out that they have been saying for a minute now how there might be another chimera that they don't know about. That means that the beast might be someone who's not in Theo's crew or that we don't know about. Hope that helped clear up things a little.
