One Piece is an adventure anime, the fights are great, but the bonding with the crew, comedy, excitement of exploration are what differs it from more action oriented anime, the action is great, but we’re here for the adventure! 😅👌

2025-10-10 20:01:03 +0000 UTCSo, it is now confirmed why the Log Poses are spherical: so it can point to the next island on a 3 dimensional plane. A very small detail when Mashira and company pull up to salvage the sunken ship is that we actually don't see Robin at all for nearly an entire episode which implies that she was doing some espionage on Mashira's ship to find the Eternal Log Pose to Jaya (pronounced "Jah-yah" btw). Some clarification on the organization of the White Beard Pirates. I don't think I'm spoiling anything because though it wasn't formally laid out for us, the way it is implied in Japanese didn't really leave any room for confusion. The White Beard Pirates are so big, they operate more like a fleet. Using the words used in the subtitles, there's a first unit, a second unit, a third unit and so forth. There is a "captain" (though "unit leader" may be a more appropriate title if we want to stay congruent with the subtitles) assigned to each unit and Ace is, in fact, the captain of the second unit which was mentioned when he was introduced in Alabasta (I forget the subtitles, but the Japanese remains consistent). White Beard is the captain of the entire fleet...and that's all you need to know for now. I hope this helps.

She makes up so interesting Ideas, which makes is so much fun to look forward to the point where things are more cleared up. This keeps the expectation for future episodes to much more high. Not only for her reactions for some things but for her to get confirmation or correction for her theories. This is so much fun watching.

2025-10-10 18:07:25 +0000 UTCThe reason why Oda made Masira a Monkey is a pun with words, the word Salvage when said with japanese letters becomes 'Sa-ru-be-ji' (pronounced something like saruvege). 'Saru' is Monkey in japanese. Also Oda does this all the time, when you see weird random characters there's a high chance that Oda just made their design based on a pun. Also when Nami asked him a question she said 'Kore kara fune wo sarubeji wo nasaru desu ka?' wich translates to 'Are you going to salvage the ship now?', but he hears '.. wo naSARU desu ka?' and thinks she's calling him a Saru (Monkey).
