And it's not for a lack of thinking. He knows fully well what the consequences of his actions will most likely be. Yet, he instantly throws himself out there every single time. I honestly wish I was half as brave as that guy.

Why would she be talking to a quiet nerd like Ken if she wasn't bullying him or forcing to be her gopher or something?

2025-09-07 14:05:58 +0000 UTC🗣"His the main character of his own story" is FACT!!! Kinta has arrived💯🙌 And the girl who said that Momo is being a interruption is kinda justified a bit. Because if you look at her, you can see she's more of a nerd than not, and at the same time, she is also Okarun's class president. So from her perspective, it looks like a fellow nerd like Okarun is being forced to hang out with rowdy people like Momo, so she was just trying to do her duty as class president and sticking up for her fellow classmate/nerd. She thinks Momo is intimidating/forcing/bullying Okarun to do what she wants. But of course, that's not the actual case as we know Momo and Okarun are very close, but the prez doesn't know that inside scoop, so she's just trying to "help" a fellow classmate/fellow nerd out as THE Class President.

I think based off the song he's a massive Char Aznibal Stan. A lot of folks are annoyed with the green ribbon girl for only now speaking up for okarun, when he's been bullied all this time. And okarun mentions it's the first time people in his class were really talking to him

2025-09-07 09:40:11 +0000 UTCYes, the new guy's name is Kinta. When he said "Don't give up, Kinta," after the girls were disgusted by his "spicy talk," it was actually a phrase with double meaning. What we see translated in original Japanese is "Kinta/ Makeruna" but when intonated differently it would go "Kintama/ Keruna" which means "Don't kick my balls." It's akin to the English "Ice Cream" vs. "I Scream" homonym. The director admitted to retconning S1Ep5 at the beginning because they didn't have enough run time with the source material. They wanted to make something that would introduce the audience to Kinta without creating too much original dialogue and thought that inserting him into this Momo/Okarun interaction would be a perfect fit. This is just an observation, but I find it amusing how Momo and Okarun are our 2 may protagonists, but Aira, Jiji and Kita all give off the vibe that THEY are each the main character of the story.
