2025-09-07 10:54:16 +0000 UTCI haven’t commented on 1 of your One Piece videos yet but I had to for this 1 because I love Nami & this fight. I love the premise of this flight being all about a “weaker” member of the Crew expressing her worry about potentially being a burden on the Crew because she might not be able to fight at a crucial moment. I really love & I admire/respect her for this because it’s not like she thinks they would think less of her since they have made it very clear how much they care about her & that she is integral to the Crew especially Luffy but because she wants to take some of the pressure off of Vivi and help her friends in what ever ways she can even if it’s just a little because of her love for them. It’s great to see her talk about this with Usopp when they both understand what it’s like to be the normal ones on the Crew I thought it was a sweet moment & I liked seeing a different side of their dynamic. Like Nami is empathetic anyway but I think she has more personal empathy for Vivi because she understands what it’s like to have the kind of burden filled with pain & sadness that Vivi has because of her own experiences it’s a very cute & wholesome/heartwarming moment/sentiment. Also I think now is a good time to talk about something that is completely Fanfic/Headcanon territory but in my opinion still interesting & cool/fun nonetheless and that is that some people ship Nami & Vivi which is not happening in the canon story but I think it makes sense that people would ship them because of the wholesome and cute/emotionally powerful moments they have together as well as having a great dynamic. That’s the beauty of Fanfic because I love the ship but not in the actual story so it’s nice to have a place where I can see that ship. I always like how Oda when creating a Devil Fruit does his best to think of all the possibilities/things someone could do with that ability like you saw with Miss Doublefinger hanging off of a building & turning into a hedgehog of death which is wild. I love how legitimately scary & dangerous Miss D is contrasted with her soft and alluring voice the VA is great. It’s crazy impressive that Usopp made a weapon that was mostly party tricks & 1 powerful attack and somehow made a device that can change the weather. I like how all Nami needed to hear was Usopp saying that all she needs is her mind to use this weapon & she just did it. It’s wild that the only reason Nami was able to use the Climatakt to it’s full potential because of her knowledge of the weather thanks to being a navigator he accidentally created the perfect weapon for Nami LOL. It’s so bad ass to see Nami defeat 1 of the stronger members of Baroque works and a DF user as her 1st solo fight in the Grand Line with just her wits, grit & determination especially just taking that very painful hit because of her willpower to help Vivi & her friends. I like how she thinks about how much she has fought through out her life & being a Survivor and that also makes her more determined. I like how because they are different people Nami & Usopp became more determined for different reasons as well as different amounts of character development. Also I think a great way to talk about Usopp is that character development it is not always linear. I love the scenes with Vivi because they are filled with Lore drops & Crocodile being as sadistic as possible like really him going “you want the armies to stop don’t worry I’m going to kill them all” is insane. Also I’m constantly impressed by Vivi & Crocodile’s voice acting it’s awesome. Crocodile is a great villain with a powerful presence I love how much aura he & Robin have. I love how much you pay attention to characters especially when they have mysterious & clear reactions to stuff like Robin does. Zoro is so badass wanting to use his opponent to get stronger it’s a trope I love in anything but there is something special about that trope in Shounen. I’m looking forward to you see more of this Zoro fight. Finally I want to say how much I love/enjoy your One Piece reactions I really appreciate how you don’t hold back on your reactions whether on the positive or negative side of things but give the story & characters the benefit of the doubt. It’s awesome to experience OP again with someone else especially when they are loving it as much as you are I love how you talk about/analyze the story & characters it’s great when someone gets a story you love like you do. Awesome reaction & I can’t wait for the next set. Keep up the great work. :-) <3

Vivi is yet another young woman shouldering a massive burden on her own to save her people and her home from tyrannical invaders just like Nami did. With this victory she's well on her way to becoming a reliable fighter right alongside her fellow crewmates. And Usopp absolutely deserves his flowers for making such a uniquely effective weapon, he's honestly some kind of genius to come up with this stuff. So now, with that zebra print cloak finally off and his signature bandana finally on, we'll be diving right into the highly anticipated Zoro fight.

2025-09-03 14:14:30 +0000 UTCLet's talk about Nami's new Clima-tact. Though Usopp is good at engineering/inventing, he has little to no knowledge of atmospheric pressures. The heat, cool and thunder balls were all still in development so even he didn't think they would be useful in battle, as manifested in his inability to understand exactly why the Cyclone Tempo had the properties of a boomerang. Therefore, Tornado Tempo was the only way he had currently envisioned it to be used as a weapon, as per his instruction manual. And I'm pretty sure she yelled when Double Finger stabbed her mirages because she had to play the part to fool Ms. DF. We had a lore semi-dump with the mentioning of Pluton and the Poneglyphs. More will be explained about it later, but keep in mind that these two things are important to the world of One Piece.

Loved Nami’s fight, I still got caught by the second mirage and I’ve seen alabasta about 6 times 🤣 I love how she slowly figures out the clima takt and makes it something that she can use her weather knowledge to actually do something with, and the fact that Usopp made a weather altering baton is kinda crazy lmao Zoro basically saying to an opponent “you’re gonna help me get stronger while I beat you” has so much aura lmfao I love your analysis of crocodile and miss all Sunday, and I love that the anime is gonna answer all the questions slowly 😜 The rest of this saga is like the perfect cherry on top of the build up we’ve gotten so far
