Everything from visuals to audio, just amazing! I'd say, instead of 100% acurate, it's about 99% acurate to the manga, but it's done really well!

But for the music parts in the Netflix sub, the German lyrics are subbed too and then the four of them make their notes colorful, it shows what theme of tune they've chosen. Also all the people coming from their mouths were the chorus members (also noted in the Netflix sub). So, it's cool to see both subs XD

2025-08-22 13:02:33 +0000 UTCJust got back from listening to the show's official podcast and the Director of the episode said that they made Karajan (the Conductor) the centerpiece of the first phase of the fight. Because he was conducting the other 5 composers/musicians, they were in "unison" which made their attacks much more powerful. When Karajan was defeated, that's when the 5 started to derail, go off on their own tangents and produce notes of their own color. Sensing that they had been nerfed, Beethoven takes the reins and started a new song which helped them reignite their collective power and the notes returned to black.

Also could you imagine having your crush show up at like 4 in the morning, calling out your childhood best friend for a brawl and speaking with such confidence that he will win? Like damn

I’ve never been so happy to be proven wrong because this episode ranks with the best episodes of the series so far. Makes me want to reread the chapters to see if I just didn’t give it an honest shot
