2025-07-30 01:04:03 +0000 UTCI really like how Mt. Lady is developed. She's first introduced, in episode 1, as a rookie hero who is obviously looking to climb the ladder for the ladders sake. Which is a core part of the show, that being a hero had just become a "pro athlete celebrity" job. Granted they were heroes and did do good things and save people. But that was at the peak of the post Almight era of peace. Anything that was actually a life or death struggle for the fate of the world was left to him. Being a hero was dangerous, but not necessarily life threatening in 90% of situations, and it held the glory and good vibes. They were basically super cops (and no disrespect in this analogy), and now they're suddenly asked to be soldiers. To just risk their life in a possible if improbable mental scenario if one thing, and something I feel pretty certain most heroes would consistently rise to the challenge if they had an Alamo moment. But to be a soldier, to agree to a follow an order that results in almost certain death just because someone high above is moving pieces on a chess board is a lot different. Mirror, Mt. Lady, Midnight, plus Endeavor and the Kamui woods guy and many more, all really show that they're gonna rise to the challenge. Its ride or die time. Final note, I'm the the Kamui-Mt. Lady ship. The fact he called out her real name versus a hero name is almost unique within the show. They're totally a couple.

Also yeah, it's nice to have a beloved show last longer.... im gonna be in mourning after s8 too, cause its the last of mha we've got after the manga ended ;^; (...unless??? Maybe in the future they make something else for these characters???? A very long shot and not probably but hey I can dream)
