2025-07-18 10:30:15 +0000 UTCthis episode is a culmination of a sorts for okarun, his ability to communicate with momo, his desire to fight for and with her, and his new friendship with jiji. all of it comes to this point where okarun locks in, and where he and momo are looking into each others eye and she takes his hand. you can even see her be a little taken aback as she seems to have something click for her in that moment. its one of my favorite moments between the two of them

They changed it in the dub but I actually like the change too. And my boy!! Okarun using his exercise forms to beat Jiji is amazing. Jiji may be naturally gifted but Okarun has put in the work!
