2025-07-09 21:02:25 +0000 UTCIzanagi and Izanami are brother and sister, husband and wife, in the Japanese mythology, they are the parents of Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo, so now we got the complete family here :) according to the myth Izanami was badly injured and eventually died after giving birth to the fire god Kagutsuchi, she went into the underworld, Yomi, where Izanagi then followed her to retrieve her, unfortunately, she had already partaken of food cooked in the furnace of the underworld, rendering her return impossible...Izanagi ends up seeing Izanami in the underworld being a rotten corpse now and flees, sealing the entrance to Yomi using a huge boulder, Izanami then pronounced a curse, vowing to kill a thousand people each day, to which Izanagi replies that he would then beget a thousand and five hundred people everyday to thwart her...so even in the mythology they are like opposites cancelling each other out :) finally we are seeing Kabuto's backstory, he was a nice kid :D no wonder he turned out this way when he got influenced by Danzo and Orochimaru, they ruined his life :P feel bad for Nono too she just wanted to run an orphanage, they call her the wandering nun, arukimiko, which was a thing in Japan, they would travel around the country not belonging to a specific temple, originally they were called nono :) with Kabuto you just gotta respect the hustle xD

2025-07-09 19:13:42 +0000 UTCOrochimaru tells you that he has been tasked with killing you, but instead offers to protect you from Danzo, teach you forbidden techniques, and develop your potential. Other options? If you refuse, Orochimaru will kill you immediately, or he will let you go and Danzo or one of his men will kill you, because you are now their target. Kabuto didn't have many options. And even if you don't like him, you have to admit that he has developed incredibly in terms of his abilities. If it weren't for him, Tobi/Madara would have lost the war immediately, because without the resurrected people, it would have been a very one-sided fight. At the same time, he can keep up with Itachi and Sasuke in battle. Honestly, if it weren't for Itachi, I think he could have taken Sasuke down. And in general, if you look at all the characters in Shippuden, he could defeat quite a few of them now.
