There's breaking the 4th wall and then there's... this. I did NOT see this coming. What the hell? It's like Adolla and our universe colliding during the Great Cataclysm caused major damage to our very reality. Like it stripped away parts of it. Insanity. Also, and I'm surprised you missed this, he suddenly has earrings in now. It almost seems like he went along with our current trends in Tokyo with the earrings and partially bleached hair and all. This supports your idea that he actually did live there for a while. If so, imagine the shock of returning.
