2025-10-09 19:18:49 +0000 UTCSeeing this arc made me realise 2 things - 1. Having Vivi join the crew here brought a new perspective. The contrast from her thinking to Luffy's thinking really helped us understand the Straw hats 2. Mr 3 is a great villain in this arc. He is the exact opposite of the themes of this arc. Seeing him fight made me realise that his DF is actually pretty strong. It's him who is weak, specially mentally.

2025-08-15 18:40:37 +0000 UTCnot really. there more common then outside of the grandline but still rare. you can't discribe it like its as normal as someone with a gun. lets make a calculated hypotheses. there are more then a 100 island in the grand line some with zero to a few inhabitants and others with a few hundred thousand to milions ( for instance alabasta is like 10.000.00 people. so lets say the whole of grand line is at least 25 milion people. Oda has confirmed there are a "few hundred" known Devil Fruits in the world. However, many Devil Fruits are not documented, and many are reused after the user's death. so lets say that there are at maximum a 1000 active devilfruit users. That means that only 0.04% of the grand linepopulation has a devil fruit power. If you want to look a tjsut navy and piratecrews. let say conservativly there are like 1000 pirate crews. most of them between 10 and 20 people. combined with navy and other specials lets say 160.000 to 200.000 people. that means with the lower estimat eof 160.000 the devilfruit powers is still only 0.625% of people

He came into this island to take care of Vivi but decided to take down the Giants as well, on what appears to be a whim, yet he knew their background and the fact that they were, in fact, good friends. I explained in further detail when we first saw Karoo, but he's voiced by Sanji's VA so Sanji's "technically" still with us in these episodes :p

(somebody correct me if I'm wrong) There's actually a massive chunk of the series where they stopped doing the EDs all together, it lasted 17 years and they only recently came back in 2023.
