i've struggled with acne as well (i have oily skin too) i tried expensive products or products that where recommended to me BY a dermatologist, (he basically told me it was bc of my hormones, fuck that guy lol) but I was slowly giving up until one day at Target i was getting my skin care stuff and i saw this one product, its called "Good Molecules" its a Korean product, its free animal cruelty, and it works so good! doesn't dry out my skin (that usually happens to me i buy products that are too strong and cause to dry out my oily face) it has not made me break out, every time i get a new pimple i wash my face them boom its gone, also its not expensive at all, its like $12 (usd) trust the koreans ;)

fr though seeing a dermatologist makes it so much easier. if you have hormonal/adult acne, they'll probs prescribe you some topicals and/or pills. i think the hardest part will probably just be getting in the routine of doing these things (at least it was for me lol). and then making sure you have a decent face washing routine as well. maybe ask your derm for any product recommendations, and they might give you some samples!

as an oily person too, vitamin e oil helped my acne scarring, or using an oil-free moisturizer with it (even us oily individuals need hydration). Oil-free everything is the way to go! Also not picking helps to prevent scarring. If you do have to pop any, wash it after popping and then put a pimple patch on. Patches work best after you get even a little bit out. Good luck on your health journey!!
