I was the opposite, I clocked Shisui from S2E1 although its was really the episode where she was collecting the caterpillars at night that I messaged my friend who had already seen it, and was like am I right??? He just went 🤐 Whereas Suirei i only realised when it was revealed to MaoMao

2025-10-10 11:24:50 +0000 UTCI feel like Lady Lishu missed a serious opportunity in not making Xaolin one of her ladies in waiting, or at least servant girls. They have to be very close in age, and they seem like they'd make perfect friends. Because they current Emperor isn't a creep, it seems like Lady Lishu doesn't have anyone close to her age that she could spend time with. And after everything that poor girl has been through she could use someone like Xaolin to brighten her day and force her to enjoy the little moments.

Because yes it’s riveting, funny, shocking, there’s sooooo much going on with both Jinshi and Maomao in this scene internally and based on their situations in this moment. I don’t have much to add because you literally said everything that I would say about it, and you are amazing for this discussion. WOW AND THE MOON analysis I love this show.
