This is the order watchlist I use for watching the movies: https://www.ign.com/articles/one-piece-series-movies-in-order

Wasn’t gonna watch this till tomorrow but just saw a late clip that’s too spoilers to say anything and my first thought was β€œI can’t wait for flexie’s reaction” and yea I need this reaction in my life

I love the OP as well Flexie, if you notice, typically they will always order things in the order of how they joined Luffy's crew, So Luffy will always be first, then Zoro, then Nami, Usopp, Sanji Etc...

I've never watched this filler before, but it's actually a pretty good surprise ! I really got into the story of the dragon and the lost island. BTW Flexie, I don't know if you discussed it with your mods, but the second half of episode 61 is canon and not part of the filler at all (except for Eric's appearance). It's up to you whether you want to post that half on YouTube or keep it as bonus content on Patreon πŸ‘

The reason people say to skip Warship Island is largely because it's one of the worst filler arcs in the series. Personally, I didn't like it at all, but you did, so your mileage may vary. But generally the latter filler arcs are better. Though one certain canon arc is definitely worse than any of the filler arcs. I'm glad you enjoyed the arc even if I didn't. I'm really interested to see you watch the next arc though. Things only get better from here

Agreed, I actually love that 90s anime style. I'm showing my age here, but it takes me back to the days when anime fandom was a struggle! A labor of love! Pre-Crunchyroll, Pre-Toonami, Pre-Torrents and IRC downloads of digital fansubs. You'd find some scanned anime art online, download it for 3 minutes over 56k dialup modem, print it out and paste it to your binders for school. If you wanted the latest and greatest, in the original japanese, you'd have to join an anime club that met at a local library, and got its tapes from tape trading events. Fansub groups would have to mail a blank VHS tape to Japan, their dealer/connection out there would record it raw from TV with commercials, and mail it back, and then these fansub groups would have to manually script/translate and use this clunky ass hardware to hardsub these ugly yellow-orange subtitles onto the tape. Going to Suncoast and Blockbuster to look through their anime OVAs on VHS was a highlight of my Summer Break. My friends and I would rent something that was way too violent or gory, plus a video game, order a pizza and stay up all night watching movies and gaming. Going to anime conventions like FanimeCon and Anime Expo was like a trip to Disneyland. After Anime Expo moved to SoCal, I didn't get a chance to go again until highschool. There's an entire generation of anime fans who have never seen or heard "Kono bangumi wa goran no sponsaa no teikyou de okurishimasu" πŸ˜„ I get flooded with those memories every time I see reactors tackle early One Piece, and other older 80s and 90s anime from my youth.
