hamzah i relate to you so much with your anxiety and sometimes feeling bleak/depressed even when there is seemingly nothing wrong in my life!! we are in this together fr and about therapists, maybe you should try it but personally when i had a therapist, my mental health was better by the time i got one so i didn't feel like i needed them anymore. but when i had other issues later on, i think just talking to people around me like my close friends made me feel a lot better than talking to a stranger would. but everyone's different so you never know!!

Im still finding ways to deal with my anxiety, but for me, if I randomly just get anxious I try to really enjoy my surroundings and the people near me. I realize that with the people I love and enjoy being around me, ill be fine no matter what. And really taking in my surroundings and seeing what makes me happy just also helps. I try to get out of my head and silence those thoughts !!

I think the best thing you can do instead of dreading whatever impending doom feeling you've got, is to make sure these good moments are extra special, and milking the fuck out of them and being grateful, just live presently to extract the most happiness out of it so that you have good times to look back on and push you forward during the inevitable rough times that may or may not happen (inshallah they won't). It's scary feeling too comfortable, but if not now then when? If the anxiety is gonna eat you up let it eat you up when it's called for, but for now let yourself be reminded of what ease feels like, let yourself learn and move on. It's not Fortnite you can't kill your target from afar, just wait for it to come close enough 4 you to understand how to tackle them. Use this time and energy to learn, create, and do new things!

when i get anxious, it helps me to think that a lot of things in life are out of our control sometimes. you just gotta enjoy them when they’re good and welcome them when they’re bad. in any case, there’s always something for us to gain - whether that’s short moments of pleasure or a long lesson to grow from. they’re all important and we’re ever-changing anyway, so there’s no need to ruminate too much on questions you don’t have an answer to yet :)
