it's really easy to spiral into diagnoses when majority psychiatrists themselves use the dsm-5 as a checklist to diagnose their patients without taking the time to look into each individual's case. i was diagnosed with BPD over a 5 minute phone call with a psychiatrist i have never met LMAO it's really frustrating to see cause this leads to over diagnosing and the pharmaceutical industry profits off that AND people actually suffering with these mental illnesses are overlooked. it's never bad to get checked out but man psychiatry needs to get better than the dsm-5
