Soul was so good! I think Pixar is very good with their storytelling, I kinda just have faith in what they're gonna do. They can always for SURE make me cry lmao -E

I was wondering where Pixar would go after the thought-provoking, heartwrenching, existential crisis that is Soul (love that movie!) – like how much more intellectual and deep can you go without it becoming self-indulgent and confusing. I'm glad they're going back to simpler storytelling like Toy Story 1 and A Bug's Life. Just a fun, wholesome adventure of some kids living life and chasing after their dreams (hi Sandlot, hi Little Rascals). Pixar are kings of storytelling, so they can do whatever they want and it's good 90% of the time. Also, hell yeah! This is absolutely a romantic movie.
