I am sorry but when Goku is the strongest warrior in the universe and he has a female VA in japanese ya sorry that is a no go. I think of a deeper manly voice when it comes to Goku.

2024-12-01 06:07:23 +0000 UTCNo anime, are better "Dubbed". Original language is always better overall. That also applies for EN stuff that gets dubbed in JP or other languages as well. Dubbing is always done by a localiser/3rd party company without a direct line/direction from the original IP's creator. Things are skewed and meanings are lost in translations. And while JP generally has a much higher quality overall of VA (because of sheer size and competitiveness of their VA industry, compared to everyone else) JP Dubs of EN IP's are generally worse than originals as well. Don't kid yourself because a single VA you like may do a great job with a single character but objectively the overall quality is lower in any Dub. You're smoking crack if you think otherwise. It's also okay to prefer your own language, but that is your own preference and not an objective point of view. And you should never be shamed for that. I agree blind elitists are cringe, like "JP is better 100% of the time" kind of thing, but ORIGINAL LANGUAGE is ALWAYS higher standard/closer to intended meaning as it's directed by or closely with the original creators.
