Apparently, in the audio commentary for the show, they state multiple times that everyone knows Zim is an alien, they just don't care lol which would explain this conversation that happened in an earlier episode: DIB: Don't you care that Zim's trying to destroy all mankind? GAZ: But he's so bad it.

2025-10-30 21:49:17 +0000 UTCthese are the only sets in the show that I always felt seemed a bit slower than the rest but still alright; the dibship one gets a leg out for continuity. also yes, most of the cityfolk/schoolchildren look downright fucked up. makes me wonder if the cesspool is linked to their drinking water.
