i really like this one because it shows katara having flaws. in the netflix show katara is made without flaws because of the female empowerment movement, and it takes the depth out of her character. characters having flaws gives them room to grow as a person. they did the same with sokkas sexism, by removing it they remove the characters ability to grow. aang as well, they took away his childishness in the netflux series, which is important, because you see aang grow from a totally carefree kid into the hero that will save the world
