I have seen Aladdin, Danny Phantom, and now Fairly OddParents; three franchises that feature a genie. Each one with their own set of guidelines: Genie (Aladdin) can only grant the holder of the lamp three wishes and cannot grant any wishes that involve love, murder, bringing the dead back to life, or even more wishes. Desiree (Danny Phantom) is forced to grant wishes, becoming more powerful with each one granted. Finally, Norm and other genies (FOP) have “monkey’s paw” effect with each wish granted (until they grant the “return everything to normal” wish). Which genie is your favorite and if you had a genie, what would you wish for?
