Cartoon Network was literally made because Turner acquired the rights to the entire Hannah-Barabara library, which makes Cartoon Network Studios kind of a successor to H-B. That's why characters like Fred Flinstone and Blue Falcon randomly pop in CN shows so often. There's zero legal red tape, so why not? That's also why stuff like Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law and Sealab 2021 exist, where they took some random HB cartoon nobody remembered and reworked it into an adult comedy.
