IOAFD - 1153. Without a Trace (I)
Added 2026-01-26 01:22:24 +0000 UTCChen Wentian got up after a while. It was far from a full recovery. That could be days or weeks, depending on their condition. But they had to get out of here. The Limitless Sword Hall was closing in.
Based on the information he obtained from Peng Lingxi, after their sword master disappeared, the remaining four Spirit Kings went crazy and searched for his whereabouts everywhere. After half a day, they were finally closing in on this underground chamber.
“Four sword venerables and eight sword elders, they will be here soon but it will take them some time to dig so deep,” He glanced at Jasmine with a smile, “Nobody can compare with our Jasmine’s digging ability.”
“Shut up!”
She hated the fact that her Legacy of Moonlight had this side effect. But it was undeniable that foxes were naturally good at digging holes.
“Everyone, get ready to take down the suppression arrays. Yu Guanyuang, drain the water. Huo Tu, use your flames to scorch the whole underground chamber.”
“Yes, Master Chen!”
“Yes!”
The merlion king opened its big mouth and started swallowing the lake water. It only took a short while for him to suck the vast underground lake dry, storing it within its body.
Meanwhile, the toad king spat out crimson flames, burning away all traces of their prior activities. Soon, it turned the place into a scorching magma chamber. It was okay if the Limitless Sword Hall eventually figured out that their sword master was dead and that Chen Wentian killed him. But no matter what, they couldn’t know that it was a blue dragon, a nine tailed moonlight fox, and a heavenly dog who did it.
“Now, take down the suppression arrays!”
Chen Wentian, Jasmine, Tiantian, and Sundew waved their hands, dissolving the various suppression arrays around them.
“Tiantian!”
“Let’s go!”
Tiantian slashed her hand, creating a spatial crack. Everyone piled in and they teleported to another location.
---
Within the Limitless Sword Hall, it was total chaos. The sword bell had been rung, meaning the sect was under attack. The survival of the sect was in danger. It was something that had not happened for decades.
The sword venerables all stormed out of the sect. Even the sword elders who were in deep seclusion appeared. But nobody was attacking the sect. Nobody had died. The mortal disciples of the Limitless Sword Hall had no idea what was going on.
Luo Ping sat beneath a garden pavilion, across the tea table from Peng Lingxi. His expression alternated between worry, suspicion, and helplessness. He had received a message from the elders that his grandfather, the sword master, was missing. The sword master went missing while chasing Chen Wentian so it was easy to guess who the culprit was.
Ten Thousand Flower Valley… he stared unblinkingly at the beautiful swordswoman before him. Her attitude hadn’t changed one bit since coming here. She was neither too cold nor too warm. She didn’t cry or complain, but she didn’t give in either. She gave him no reason to force her and he didn’t want to. But now, he wasn’t sure if he had a choice.
“Did you know this would happen?” He asked.
She glanced at him casually and then looked around the garden. It seemed they were alone, but in truth, several servants were hiding close by, including the powerful butler.
She glanced back at him and replied slowly, “I think… this should be what the sages said, the cyclic nature of karma. You kidnapped me and my master. Did you ever think doing so would end in this result?”
Luo Ping’s eyes flashed with a cold light, “Nothing is certain yet. And you are still in my hands. Do you think you can escape?”
Although he let her keep her spiritual items and her spatial bag, the elders had already examined the contents. There were no spatial treasures or anything else that could allow her to escape.
Peng Lingxi snorted, “So, are you finally tired of pretenses? You acted like a noble swordsman for so long. But in the end, you are nothing but a lecherous man who uses his status to bully women.”
Luo Ping leaped to his feet, “I have never forced a woman, ever!”
Peng Lingxi also stood up, drawing her sword, “So what? Just because she isn’t crying and screaming doesn’t mean you didn’t force her. You forced her with your wealth, your status as the young master of the Limitless Sword Hall, and the power that you can call on. You forced me.”
Her sword moved with her body, straight towards his heart.
Ka!
His sword appeared at the last moment, barely blocking the attack.
The tea table was overturned. Cups and plates shattered. The wooden railing was turned into splinters as he retreated across the pond.
“Young master!”
The butler appeared with four strong servants. They surrounded Peng Lingxi from all sides while Butler Wei helped Luo Ping to his feet.
“Young master?”
“Take her down and lock her up!”
“Yes, young master!”
They drew their swords. They were all in the lesser realms of the Spirit Initiate Realm.
Peng Lingxi laughed, “How long have you been waiting to say that?”
Luo Ping glared at Peng Lingxi, “You’re right. Ever since I laid eyes on you, I have wanted nothing more than to push you down and rip off your clothes. But I didn’t.”
“Oh, I suppose I should thank you?” She retorted, “I should be so thankful that you didn’t rape me that I should willingly get in bed with you?”
She hated men like Luo Ping the most. Her senior brothers and other male disciples in the Tower of Swords were all like this. They all wanted her but pretended to be gentlemen, always pestering like disgusting flies, never taking the hint to give up.
“Enough!” Luo Ping said, “I have heard enough. Take her. Butler Wei, do what you have to do to make her obedient.”
“Yes, young master!” Bulter Wei drew his sword, letting his powerful aura lock onto Peng Lingxi.
Faced with five experts, there was nowhere to run and no chance to resist.
Peng Lingxi stood there without a care, a light smile gracing her beautiful lips. Against them, she merely raised her empty left hand. A spatial crack appeared. A huge black bee appeared and landed on her open palm.
Luo Ping and his men gaped at this sudden change. The entire sect was protected by multiple layers of powerful spiritual arrays. They couldn’t comprehend how this insect could show up here.
Before they could react, the void bee queen flew up and attacked. In an instant, it teleported five times and five heads went flying at the same time. It then wanted to attack Luo Ping but he managed to activate a protective golden sphere just in time. Unbothered, the void bee queen created a large spatial crack and shoved the sphere along with Luo Ping inside.
The bee then beckoned to Peng Lingxi and they entered the spatial crack, disappearing from the Limitless Sword Hall without a trace.

2026-01-26 14:43:14 +0000 UTCI guess mc still wants to take over Luo Ping soul for his scheme, bruh, what a nice kidnap turn around aka karma lol. Their sect master was kidnapped and killed and now their young master will be getting the same fate. Who knew that kidnapping just some spirit lord and his disciple may lead to that, truly a cultivation world full of possibilities and sort ot miracles😁.
