2024-10-11 04:05:41 +0000 UTCThis episode about uncle grandpa is a crossover and a advertisement for the show uncle grandpa that was filming / producing little bit before steven universe but did not get manny reviewers and thought they could get steven universe fans to see more of this show to make it bigger. i wached steven universe and uncle grandpa and adventure time and regular show and powerpuff girls and and clarence and amazing world of gumball when it came out / released and olso Lego Legend of Chima i want you to watch that cause Lego Legend of chima is forgotten. also uncle grandpa was actually a pretty good show

Some people joke that the crossover actually is canon, since it seems like Steven really does use his shield more casually after that episode, but that's just a meme of course. 👀

They did foreshadow something but it’s more of a ‘you have to look it up to see what they foreshadowed thing’ than something you’ll understand when the thing finally happens/is revealed in the show later. I don’t normally watch the crossover episode but I do like to see reactors react to it mainly to be confused and to see everyone laugh at the gems just being like ‘What the heck?’ As well as Pearl running around screaming her head off and acting crazy 😂😂😂 Truly the best part of the episode for me

2024-10-10 22:39:45 +0000 UTCSo the Uncle Grandpa thing, I didn’t watch his show much but it was basically just a bunch of random stuff happening all the time. He does break the 4th wall and his portrayal in this crossover is pretty accurate to what little I remember of his show. The joke about being in the first episode of Steven Universe was because they showed an episode bumper in the bottom while it played to let viewers know about it coming on next like what a lot of channels did to let people know what show was coming on next.
