Happy Friday, friends! 💖I wanted to make a little progress update on this story before the weekend hit.

I'm still kind of finding my way with how the colors will look on this. I like the palette overall but it might take some work to get them to work in the way I imagine, page to page to prevent them from getting too gaudy. That burnt sienna tone is wonderful red but it can look a little too intense in places. Tis the process.

I'm having the kind of fun with these pages that make them go both fast and slow because I'm enjoying the drawings and they're coming naturally although I do get a little lost in the details still sometimes. This is my favorite moment so far :))))))))))))))))))))))))))⤵️

I am wont to be, like most artists, self deprecating around my work (especially my inconsistent attention span) but when I feel good about a panel, I'm willing to admit it. I am proud of the amount of wanting in Hero's eyes. 😍 It is my finest accomplishment in a drawing of a man😤

I don't know why I started doing the arched and wiggly panel borders, maybe it started with page one's vase, almost working as a panel border but I keep looking for excuses to drop them in whenever possible.

Some of them reinforce the the direction of panels and stuff, but others are just pure art nouveau decorative flair.

I kind of like the idea that these kinds of "pretty for pretty's sake" compositions heighten the horny ones by sharpen the contrast in the reader's mind. Showing a fairytale-like tableau sets one expectation, and anchoring it with a throbbing cock upends that a lil bit.
