So yeah, been thinking about Princess Daisy. Yeah, been accidentally hording sketches-- BUT weekly posts does keep me from going completely overboard in that regard. Sometimes sharing something that's aaaaaalllmost finished feels kinda cheap? Because I know I'll share it with all patrons like a day later anyways. Oh well, let's call it early access.
I might be just telling myself these are different than the Peach drawings but I've been finding a lot of enjoyment exploring the differences between what are really just simplistic cartoon characters. I'm also learning to appreciate how subtle but elegant the differences are between the two, they're smart character designs.
I wish I had more to say about these but I think the longer I sit with some of them the more I'll find in them to embellish, kind of like how the Peach zine drawings evolved over time.
The one thing I haven't yet done is tried to build some sort of narrative out of the drawings. Not that I need another narrative project, but sequential drawings are really satisfying and add a lot of eroticism, context, the like.

Just to be clear, do you mean sequential drawings in the sense of comics, as in sequential narrative? Or these sort of collaged compositions that show up in these sketchbook posts? I'd be happy to share some thoughts on either next time I share them 😀
