Satyr x Swordsman
Added 2025-04-14 15:20:53 +0000 UTCHappy Monday!! This was just a little one-off drawing exploring the theme and art style for the satyr comic while everyone was voting last week so this does not reflect the voting results exactly.
BUT the results are IN and the second image shows our CHOSEN PAIRING 🎉 :D Satyr D won by a hefty margin but it was a tighter race with the leading male character as Swordsman C.
I'm still toying with whether or not drawing the whole thing with a green line could work for me or not. I think while I work on thumbnails and roughs this week I'll do one kind of style target with the couple in question so I know what I'm going for and can stick to it for the whole project, hopefully.

I love this because that's the sort of thing that I tend to fixate on-- how would things feel to touch. I know it's going to be hard to resist putting a lot of lines in them in the end so I'm going to have to make sure they look like clouds every few pages at least :3

He looks really hungry haha I’m following your idea of using a different palette for my drawings each month and it’s funny how your March palette is very similar to mine. The green line + yellow fill combo works extremely well, hope you don’t mind if I borrow it for a character spreadsheet I’m working on 👀
