September Report

🎃Happy October, everyone! 

Thank you so much for supporting my work this month, especially for letting me do WAY too much Atlantis fanart. :D Special thank you to the new patrons that found their way here because of said Atlantis fanart 😂💗 I'm very happy to have you aboard and I hope you’re enjoying your stay so far! 

Let’s review our progress. 📈Report Time!📉

SEPTEMBER GOALS: 1️⃣/3️⃣ 😔

⏹️✅ Libby and Holly 36-40 (almost but not quite)
⏹️CYOA Pt 16
✅ ✅ Fanart poll characters complete (I overdid it)

 I was disappointed to break my good 2 month streak of meeting goals, but it was maybe to be expected. I had some major delays when an urgent plumbing project in the house took 4+ days for the work to get done.  I always feel on edge whenever I have people doing work on the house, the jackhammer noises and plumbing smells don't help either, but I'm leak free now, so that's good. Maybe this contributed to my fascination with Audrey this month!🔧💦

Speaking of Audrey, let’s start with the success of month-- the ✅ Fanart Characters Complete -- which was also my downfall.

 I had a bad time holding myself back and the result was pages and pages of fanart instead of pages and pages of everything else. 😅

We got some Kida x Audrey

Plenty of just Kida...💙

And plenty of Helga, which was a fun departure for me- I love breaking out of the typical confines of “wholesome erotica” to draw a spicy character. Will do it again. 😤

And a slight dash of Kida x Milo

Mixed in the middle of the month was where a lot of my sketches happened. I started trying to figure out what Regency Zelda would be like a while before I finalized anything. I was kinda interested in this really pointy look for a minute, might come back to that for something else in the future....

One of the sketches I made around this time became the “Oops I’m late” doodle last Friday. I've been thinking a lot about Toriyama art again lately.

My studio helper Kit🐰 helped me separate the individual compositions of the Atlantis fanart for posting to social media.

Sometimes I'm not sure if I should share these slight variations of drawings on Patreon because it seems redundant to the original spread. What do you think?

I don’t want to spam you with multiples of the drawings, but some are slightly different from the original spreads and I wouldn’t want any of you to feel like you’re missing out when you’re paying to be here! 😀All the art from the month will be including them in the dropbox downloads for this month either way.

Technically Satyrs and fruit pinups were on the fanart list, but I have a whole satyr project planned so that itch will be scratched, if you are patient :) and fruit landed in last place, which I think means I can move on to other things.

It took me all month, but I did finally figure out what I wanted to do with Regency Zelda...

And I guess what I wanted to do was have her fall in the moat. 😅Sorry, Zelda.

Also Noi finally got some time in the fanart sun 💖 I might be most unexpectedly pleased with how these turned out, they just kinda worked with little struggle, always a pleasant surprise.

⏹️CYOA and ⏹️✅Libby & Holly are the obvious misses in September.

Pages 36-39  did get done, just very slowly. I should have known they would be finicky.

They were important to me to get right in a really particular way because it's kinda the climax of the story so far and when I am trying to get real specific interactions or gestures or expressions it doesn't always come easily. BUT I am pleased with how they turned out.

 I misspelled "hooky" 🙄 I really wish PS had a built-in spellcheck
I think there are about 3-4 pages left in this chapter and I’ve got the roughs almost done! Trust me, this chapter WILL end. 😅

🎃October Goals

⏹️ Libby & Holly Ch3 Complete -I wanna get this dang book done! 
⏹️ CYOA Pt 16 -This one should just be fun 😀
⏹️ Witchy Things Only Poll – I’d kind of just like to draw witchy things in my spare time this month, everyone cool with that? 😎 I'll be opening a suggestion box for characters or themes or whatever!

⏹️ Physical Comics Store - I am going to attempt to setup my store through shopify this time– it’ll be easier than Gumroad ever was, integrate directly into my website, and make shipping more streamlined too. Down the road I want to buy a nice archival printer to start making the prints that INPRNT won’t let me print 😒
 Patrons will be the first to know when the store is up and running! 💖
