Also --I did these drawings on yellow early last month, posted them on social and then never ended up posting them here 😩 i've been...distracted i guess.
ART TALK:
So I was thinking about the whole montage/spread format I've been working at in recent weeks and this side interest of mine in looking at anime characters sheets and production art generally that still contains some of its "production-ness."
We as an audience were really never meant to see the kinds of character sheets that animation nerds find and catalog for our benefit, and there's something so tantalizing about seeing the work before it's been cleaned up for public consumption, or even better, the drawings made at the margins of the animation paper with the peg holes and production notation all around the art.
For some reason I get a tiny thrill from seeing this approval stamp in the corner of this model sheet and that oppressive typed 'ROUGH MODEL SHEET' in the top corner. It's a peak behind the curtain
All of that aside-- I also just know that when there's a frame or border on the page you're drawing on, you react to it, so I've decided to just use my same old tools again this month but do my drawings on top of the same template just to see if it changes the way I draw and how I layer up poses.
If nothing else, I'll just make a bunch of silly notes in the corners of things from my boss hehe 
You might ask--why is all this meta fiction around your work necessary? Why pretend like you work in an office that requires forms and approval processes?
I think the answer is that I just like fantasy and playing pretend and it might be a novel way of presenting some of this stuff I write here as a part of the pictures I'm making in a way. Adding a visual commentary track of sorts :p
