I’m thrilled that we were able to complete all of the listed goals for the month! 🎺
This is a rare enough occurrence that I can’t remember the last time this happened hehe 😅

I think this success is due to:
1.💕Your wonderful support💕
2. better scheduling on my part, and
3. being able to pay a friend to work part time as an assistant so I can focus on the important stuff. 😌 I hope to keep this positive trend going this month!

Beginning the month we jumped right into the ✅ Theme/pinup poll! I kinda cheated and started on Falin x Marcille sketches a little before voting ended because, let’s be honest, we all knew they were going to win ;)

As a result, the majority of my sketchbook activity this month was really just these two cuties, with some exceptions.

I decided to build a big pile of sketches to combine and develop into a bigger poster composition. Some of the sketches I made definitely didn't make the cut in the larger composition but it was mostly due to space.

It feels similar to a comic to me, yet very different, not having any panels. It’s more reminiscent of a movie montage sequence in a way. The images play together kinda like a Drew Struzan poster, which I adore 😍

I still plan to do a little bit more with these two, now that I’ve gotten further into the show, but next on my list is some Atlantis fanart. 👀

Between work on Farcille sketches I was working through ✅Libby & Holly Ch3: Pages 26-30, and these are a really fun set of pages in my opinion, things are getting saucy 😏

Less speech bubbles are easier for me, so this all went pretty smoothly. Might add some more in the future to break up the action, but  I also like how there are moments of quiet.

The ✅CYOA Pt 14 update that just went up has a divided poll, which is something I’ve been wanting to try for a while. 

Silver & Gold patrons get to vote on Orc actions but Gold patrons also get to vote on Goblin actions. So if you’re a silver patron it’ll be a special surprise what the goblin decides to do…

I don’t think I’ll do a split poll every month but I’m pretty sure I’ll have some opportunities to try it again in the future!

This month🧪: Part of my self-inflicted challenge for this year is in figuring out how to work more with other artists so I’m not an entirely solo operation. 

I have a chronic tendency to try to do everything myself, often to my own detriment. Working with an assistant is helping me correct that. I hope it will make my output here much more consistent and less burnout-prone.

There are some projects I’d like to attempt, but are too large of an undertaking to do by myself, so developing the organizational skills to work with and direct others is going to be important for the future.

Who knows, maybe someday this operation will grow into a lil’ studio, publishing other peoples' stuff, making neat, artsy things happen.🤩big dreams. Anyways, here's some cute feets:

I’m keeping my plans for this month pretty modest again, it feels good to just finish stuff😤 I also find a lot of creative energy to do fun stuff like fanart without feeling like I’m dropping the ball elsewhere!
