June Report

Hello friends and Happy July! My apologies for this report being delivered so late. 

This month’s problem was pretty straightforward - I keep this SFW/NSFW split in my work because it gives me excellent stability in my schedule, which is hard to find as a freelancer. You can't schedule personal emergencies, though, so when the AC broke and the dog had to go to the emergency vet(she's fine, just needs a lot of care at the moment!) right after I had just finished a really long, tiring freelance work week. It sucked all of the energy out of an already very tired Winton and I kinda had to call in sick for a bit.

I’m sorry for the bad timing and impact it had on the work I was planning here. Thank you for being patient!

On the upside, I’m past the hurdle and I can dictate my own schedule with more control now.  I’m going to take a few days to do some recoup + travel (maybe get some new inspiration) so I’m refreshed and back to work later this week!🥃 🌤️🚶‍♂️

Okay, announcement over, back to the report!📈

I was in a real live art show at Weinberger Gallery in Kansas City, MO! 🥂

It was fun to see real, physical people looking at my work! I only wish it wasn't so loud (they had live performers and a DJ) so I could eavesdrop 😈 and hear peoples' reactions to it. Oh well, still had a good time!

⏹️✔️ Complete Libby & Holly Ch2 (6 pages) + Cover

June opened up with roughing out the remaining pages of Chapter 2 so I could wrap the chapter. 

Because of the slapdash way I write these things I had to quickly come up with a new outfit for Libby for the final chapter. I’m excited about drawing her in tights in the next chapter 🙂

I made it from pages 17-21 in mostly complete pages but I wasn’t able to get the last two done. Here's some snippets:

4/6 pages isn’t all the worst, but I always want to be doing more 🙂

⏹️ CYOA Update - This one just didn’t happen in the slightest, sorry y’all. I’ll be able to get this corrected this month.

✅ New Fanart + Theme Poll - I didn’t get as much fanart as I would have liked (I’m still playing TotK!) but I did have a lot of fun drawing Medusas!

My sketchbook stuff was a little sporadic! I think I draw in my sketchbook more when I’m stressed out and need a break from my work schedule 😅

I even did some drawing in my traditional sketchbook for a break from the screen :)

The July agenda is going to look essentially the same, I’m just going to forget the last two weeks ever happened and pick up where I left off. I hope you enjoy seeing what comes out this month!
