Reading Endurance

I think the ability to sit immersed in text while staying attentive and engaged is a muscle like any other--if you don’t use it, you start to lose it! So be honest: how’s your reading endurance these days compared to 2, 3, 4, 5+ years ago?

If the book is good I usually go through it in a day. It happened with all Samurai of Hyuga releases and a few others that I really liked. If the text or book I'm reading is meh or bad, I get really quickly bored and then tired.

2025-05-02 20:14:59 +0000 UTCDefinitely depends. If I find a book that I can REALLY get into, I'll devour it in like a day or two. But I definitely have more varied hobbies than I did when I was younger, so just sitting down and reading doesn't happen quite as often. I do read a lot in the games I play, though. Haha.
