Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, Patrons!

I hope you all enjoy this special Cops & Catgirls episode. I never imagined I'd write a Christmas Special in my life, but I had a heck of a lot of fun with this one! It's a standalone episode, so you don't need to listen to the others in order to enjoy it.

2022 has been a big year for Samurai of Hyuga, with the long-awaited release of Book 5. I'm happy to say that early access for Book 6 will be starting not far into the future! I'll make an announcement at the start of the month it begins.

Working on SoH will always be my priority, but I'm still interested in experimenting with new ideas and concepts in interactive fiction. IF is a large and growing world, not just limited to choicegames. One such area that has played a very large role in my life is Dungeons & Dragons.

I've always been interested in delivering a narrative D&D-style experience that people can enjoy on their own. Nothing can replace real friends of course, but getting a group together to play regularly is easier said than done! And so, I'd like to tease a (very) rough draft screenshot of the project I'm calling Tabletop Nights:

With dice rolls and banter between characters, there's no shortage of adventures to be had! Everything in it is (and will be) a work in progress, and your feedback is going to help a ton, but I think it'll be a fun side project and patreon perk for you guys. Since I don't want it to take time away from SoH, I'll be changing the Intermediate tier as follows:

Cops & Catgirls will release with a new broadcast every even month, while Tabletop Nights will have a new session every odd month. The first session, in January, will be free for everyone to get a feel for what it's about.

I probably say this every year, but I'm excited for what the future holds and I hope you are, too! I wish you and yours the best—and thank you so much for being here!
