2025-09-07 04:03:32 +0000 UTCso a little more about taki and k because that message from taki's parents always makes me feel emotional lol!! the other comments have already explained it a bit but i just wanted to give some more insight. yes taki, nicholas, ej and k were all on i-land! taki was 15 at the time of filming and k was 22, but they were super closer prior to filming and k even said that when the staff found out he was close with taki they almost sent him back to japan.... in taki's own words, k taught him everything from "humanity to the rules of society" and when he was going through puberty all of his tantrums were aimed at k. also &team's formation was through a show called &audition, where the og 4 (nico k taki ej) were already confirmed members and the others were chosen through the show! and on fuma's name, the japanese language doesn't have a true f sound (english f is made using the teeth, japanese f is the same lip shape but only uses the lips and no teeth), which is why his name in korean is spelled 후마 (how it would be pronounced in japanese) but romanized to fuma in english.

Here's an additional fun name fact for you. Taki and Maki share the same government name (Riki), thankfully XYLabels was kind and let them pick super different stage names...? XD Lowkey convinced that their stage names are just a combination of their first and last names. Also, since you brought up i-land, Taki is an i-land survivor. As are K, EJ, and Nicholas. Hence why they're known as the OG4 because they went through i-land, did not make the line-up, and then remained within Hybe until 2022 when the &Audition survival show aired. K's been looking after him since he was 14-15 years old. &Team very recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary, so seeing them here just after their 1st is giving me all the emotions. They're achieving their goals. ;-; Thank you for the reaction! To answer your question, I personally would be okay with whatever name you wanted to choose as a credit name. Either governmental or a fancy new one, so long as let us know what to look out for, I think anything goes. :)
