Modern Special Forces 2: Heavies - BSF Loyalty Rewards - Everything You Get in March!

Hello Patrons,

It's time for the full gallery of parts and multi-shell breakdown!

Modern Special Forces Heavies

In the images below, you can see that we've highlighted certain elements in bright orange, blue, green, etc (and you'll see similar images in many of our previous releases too!), and various images say "multi-shell" on them.

These colours mean that each highlighted element is actually a separate "shell" - a complete 3D object that it is possible to move, scale, interchange, or even remove entirely! Want to know how? We've got a few excellent text and video resources for you to check out;

Full written instructions of how to use Multi-Shell features in both MeshMixer and Blender can be found here.

Sonic Sledgehammer's Video Tutorial using MeshMixer.

And finally, an in-depth Blender Tutorial that covers advanced movement and manipulation of individual shells, as well as a whole lot more if you're interested!

Starting with heads equipped with the MICH helmet in both regular, and fabric covered varieties! With optional modular attachment rails on the plain set, and NOD mounts on both versions, you couldn't ask for more protection for your operators... except of course for a full ballistic facemask. A regular plain version suits most needs, but for those that want a little "more" from their character minis, there's also a skull shell, or an integrated gas mask!

Some very heavily armoured torsos are available for your troops, with the option of a raised neck guard and backpack, in addition to the main ballistic plates and padding, all with laser-cut Molle tactical system for adding as many accessories and pouches as you can handle!

Combined Legs and Torsos meant that we can really beef up the amount of gear we can strap onto the Regiments frame, with a massive number of extra pouches, grenades, and additional groin plates. All of these are kept as individual separate shells for maximum customisability for you digital kit bashers out there!

For the greatest degree of flexibility and modularity, the legs are also made available as modular parts. While they lack some of the extra armour and accessories, they're still extremely well protected, with the smaller protective plates still kept as shells for those that want to go lighter.

Not to be left out, the arms for your modern Heavies are also up-armoured, with optional elbow pads, combat gloves, and Molle webbing on the bicep. Stocks are Regiments Pistol-Grip compatible, and styled after the M249 hydraulic buffer buttstock, with some very characterful posing on #5, using the carry handle grip! You've also got an additional pose of arms that are wielding a modern 40mm grenade launcher, lovingly modelled on the M32 MGL.

For those MGL grenade specialists we've got specially modified bodies with even more protective pads, covered in extra 40mm grenades. All the extra gear is kept shelled, so you can even take the regular troopers and up-armour them too if you're willing to try out digital kitbashing!

To round off, we've got the heavy's weapons! The M249 SAW and its paratrooper variant each come with unique options when it comes to the shroud, bipod, magazine, and stock, but most importantly are cross-compatible with each other. So if you like one element from one, you can easily swap it onto the other! Both M249s come with a Regiments pistol-grip compatible version, as well as one with a full stock and grip, for those that want to model with it in dioramas, or swap out previous month's stocks in favour of this one. Our digital modularity is amazing!

Not only that, but there are two versions of the M32 MGL; one with the full, accurate, and digitally adjustable stock and foregrip, and the other slightly tweaked for compatibility with Regiments pistol-grip arms!

Finally, there's a fun set of extra accessories that you can use as digital kitbash parts! The groin plate, 40mm grenades, an ACOG sight, and the hip pads which have been kept as "poseable" as possible.

We hope that this breakdown has given you lots of inspiration to plan how you want to use March's bundle! As usual, we've provided the render images in ZIPs, attached to this post, for quick reference. If you have any thoughts, share them down below, or on our Discord
