Poll Results (Halfway Broken)

Alright! Before anything else, just a quick bit of information. I've been crazy busy, so the first Automata update of the month isn't quite ready yet. I should be able to wrap up the writing tonight and edit it for posting tomorrow. Probably. Since I normally try to release that on the first, I decided to instead release the results of the Halfway Broken Relationship Poll, which I just closed down. So...

There they are! I'm going to be honest, I didn't entirely know what to expect with this one. I admit, though, that how poorly Boa Hancock did startled me. The people that wanted her were, I think, the single most vocal bunch previously. Honestly, I'm a little relieved, as she would have been the hardest to handle, as there is fundamentally no way for her to join the crew. Meaning I would have been juggling a relationship with an external member, which would have complicated the heck out of things.

As for the actual winner, I'm not too surprised at Vivi. She does have some decent chemistry, and I've already taken care of the major issue with her by giving her a Devil Fruit that lets her bounce back and forth between the ship and her home. As the winner, she is now locked into the relationship. I will warn you all that she won't join immediately. Robin is going to be the next to join, and Vivi will only even consider it after she realizes that they are 'open for more' as a result of that.

Because of Vivi's age, I also refuse to write her into any lewds until sometime during the timeskip period. I'm not going to be handling the timeskip in the same way Oda did. The crew won't be splitting up and I'll be showing at least some of their adventurers during it. Vivi will turn 18 by the end of it, though I may write her into some limes, at least, after she turns 17. They are horny pirate teenagers (well, Luffy, Nami and Vivi are, at least), after all. Prior to that point, though, the most that will happen with her is romance, flirting, and possibly a bit of over-the-clothes fun. I'm just not quite comfortable toeing the age line with her too much as she comes off as a relative innocent.

As one last note...yes, the fact that Vivi won means I'm willing to possibly include Yamato as well. Not Boa, as I warned everyone in the text of the previous poll. In a few days, I'll put up one last poll for the relationship, with Yamato, Hina, and Perona, and No Additional as the four options. The results of that poll will completely solidify the total pairing for the fic.
